In the wake of their staggering defeat against Tottenham Hotspur, the red devils have once again found themselves in football hell. A lackluster defensive performance coupled with a sending off for captain Bruno Fernandes allowed for an easy three points for the away side, leaving most of Old Trafford goers outraged.
This marks United’s third loss in the Premier League this season, where they currently sit in thirteenth place. Fans are understandably upset, and are calling for the coach’s head across the internet. With majority of the current Manchester United squad being players that have either been brought in by or debuted under Ten Hag, is he at fault for the horrendous form that they are in?
Traditionally solid FPL assets such as Diogo Dalot {£5.1m}, Marcus Rashford {£6.9m} and Bruno Fernandes {£8.2m} all look like they would be liabilities and wastes of money in any manager’s team. However, gameweeks 8-13 offer some favourable fixtures to the red devils that can provide these assets with an outlet to find themselves again on the pitch.
Can some wins in this run save the coach’s job or is it too late for the Dutchman?
