Is Haaland a viable option again?

With three goals in his last two EPL games, grabbing 21 points across them…is the most expensive asset in FPL history back to scoring ways? In the wake of a very poor run of Manchester City form, Erling Haaland seems to have regained his eye for goal in the past couple of games, which spells great news for his fans and those who have (somehow) held onto him in their FPL teams.

As he currently sits at £14.8 million however, managers who sold him during his cold streak will have a very difficult time finding a way to get him back. Selling the likes of Mohammed Salah (£13.7m) or Cole Palmer (£11.4m) are obvious routes to regain the Norwegian, but are you willing to sacrifice the current top two point scorers in the game?

We all know what Haaland is capable of when he’s on form, and with Savinho (£6.5m) lacing up his assisting boots recently, who knows what kind of damage the striker will do to his non-owners. Even though upcoming fixtures are not too favourable, with Chelsea, Arsenal, Newcastle and Liverpool all coming within City’s next 6 games…Haaland at his best is a world class, fixture-proof machine that can give any defense nightmares. Will he be joining your team? Or is he just not worth it anymore?
